Yaa Frimpong

Dr. John Gallagher is a dual board-certified Emergency Medicine and EMS Medicine physician who has diversified his time to include financial planning for the physician community. Although still practicing Emergency Medicine in Hawaii, his interest in the financial industry and his perspective as a client of IWC, led to his joining IWC in November 2021.

John became an IWC client after recognizing the value of having a firm who intimately understands the medical community and the unique needs of a physician. After fully realizing the value IWC brought, John felt called to share his experience with his colleagues and began discussions with IWC about how he could contribute to the growth of the firm and bring enhanced value to the medical community.

John completed medical school at Temple University in Philadelphia and residency in Emergency Medicine at Geisinger Health system where he also worked as a Flight Physician for LifeFlight Air Ambulance. Over his career, John has become an experienced lecturer and has held leadership positions throughout his career with the American College of Emergency Physicians, the National Association of EMS Physicians, and the American College of Surgeons. He also holds the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians (FACEP) designations.
